EA Access Hub payment

hi there,

It seems like I am like many others who purchased a $50 xbox gift card, redeemed the card, have a balance in my microsoft account, and it won;t let me buy EA access. Is there a way I can use my microsoft account to get EA access. I don't want to use a
credit card

Microsoft and EA are aware of the issue regarding the EA Access hub, and are working on a new version of it. The beta for it is currently in testing. however you do not need to use the hub to purchase the game you want. Go to the store, find the game,
and purchase it, you will still get the reduction in price or if the game you want is in the vault, you can still download the game for free.

I looked into this a little bit and it seems as though this is currently a known issue that a solution is being worked on for. How soon this solution will go live though I don't have information on, however I would continue to check for updates for EA Access
on your Xbox as I am sure they will be pushing them out as soon as possible!

 

No. Currency from your Microsoft account cannot be used for third party subscriptions. There are prepaid EA Access cards available.

To add to Smwutches answer, you can not use CSV (currency stored value) to purchase any type of Xbox LIVE Membership because by default, auto-renewal turns on, and CSV is not a valid payment instrument for a recurring payment.
