I think this is a terrific scheme.

I've got one mate that traded his Battlefield 4 which more than paid for 1 years sub. Downloaded Battlefield 4 + Madden + Fifa + more games will be added.

I'll definitely be signing up for 1 year when it's available to all.

 

I agree Lofty! Shall be giving it a go myself when its established for everyone.

 

Playstation Now will blow this away if the prices are similar...

 

Aside from the fact that Playstation Now may not offer the latest games, and even then may not offer EA titles, up to this point Playstation Now has been pretty expensive up to
now.

Maybe this service will encourage Sony to get competitive with their service, but I don't see Playstation Now and EA access occupying the same space as they offer differing services.

Hopefully EA will offer this on other platforms, such as PC in the future.

I'm curious to know when you start being a subbing. When exactly does the new EA games appear on the service??? From day 1 or from day 180 etc etc??

If from day one I would pay that and more...... but if 6 months later i would pass

 

I like this idea!! Its pretty good though I have to wonder what exactly the benefit is for the company. I mean £20 per year for some good games is fantastic for consumers but I am guessing that the only games that will be added to this are games that the
company have already made enough money from before they get added to this? Either way, a superb scheme in my books. Something I will likely invest in to say that a season pass almost costs the same price.

 

£20 for one year is good, but I do wonder how quickly new titles are going to be added.

I can't see new titles like Dragon Age: Inquisition being added inside six months. Maybe even a year before they are added,

However if you have patience, this could work out to make EA gaming cheap as hell.

 

At first glance this looks pretty good to me. I've only had my Xbox One a few weeks so being able to pay £20 and get a years access to titles like BF4 and Madden that I'd otherwise pay £30 each for seems like a bargain. Plus the added incentive of being
able to get access to games like Dragon Age early and save 10% as that's a game I'd buy anyway.

Of course the only trouble at the moment is that I'm not in the beta programme!

 

There is no denial that this deal does look impressive, i will no doubt get it if i ever buy an XB1 again...

 

This deal looks to good to be true, ill stand back for a bit and see how this pans out.

Does anyone have a code/invite to spare? I usually get into early previews for most things so I would be more than willing to reciprocate in the future.

 

The big question is when do you get access to the games? If its on or around release then great that is a bargain. But this is EA and EA dont do things likethis without a catch. Will prob be a few months till you can access them, which means you get to play
it early then wait for monthst to carry over your progress?? This sounds like a version of the early access they did on 360.

All the games mentioned have or had new versions being released within the next couple of months, maybe thats the catch you get the game when next years has been announced.

Doeant sound like you will get access that quick. Good if your not a regular EA games player but i need Fifa and DA on day one.

 

You can have them day one, you just gotta buy them on day one. At no time have they said new games would have immediate access through the program. Welcome back!
