We’d been promised the offer of free EA Access for all and that will soon be exactly what we’ve got as the EA Access program opens its doors to all Xbox Live Gold members.

Whilst we still think the £20/year price tag is absolutely stunning, for all those who don’t currently pay for EA Access on Xbox One, your dreams are about to come true. From the 12th-22nd June 2016, the scheme will
allow all Xbox Live Gold members access to all the games in the Vault for free. That’s zero payment for a ton of stunning games – a ton being more than 20 in fact with the likes of FIFA 16, Madden, Dragon Age Inquisition, Titanfall, Need for Speed and the
awesome Peggle 2 amongst the titles you can get playing.

You will need no credit card – just grab the app and hang around until the 12th June when the freebies will appear. If you then fancy subscribing to the scheme, you can do just that straight after. Like we say, we

Beginning in June, Games with Gold hits the Xbox One bringing a subscription-based access to free games for all Gold subscribers. Gold members will be able to download and play Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood for free. Also in June
will see discounted games starting with Forza Motorsport 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome.

 

Guess this will help me decide if I want Mirrors edge catalyst.

Oh well, as long as it does not require a CC, or other personal info, I'll give it a look see.

 

Nice, happy to give it a go and have been thinking about subscribing, mostly for the NHL games. I don't play NHL online anymore so I don't mind if the yearly edition in the vault is 6 months post release.

Yes it is, Battlefield 1 beta? Apparently subscribers will get it.

 

Am I missing something or is this not working yet? Tried to play nhl but it keeps asking me to subscribe.

 

This isn't working! Doesn't let me install from the app.

 

After contacting several MS support chat members, it became very obvious that first, MS support does not know how EA subcription program works and second, EA Free Play Days for Xbox Gold Members is false advertising! You MUST pay EA/MS in order to have EA
Access Subscription as Active instead of Inactive. Hoping that MS will pay dearly for such badly hidden commercial malpractice.
