EA Access and Same Retail Games Problem

Me and my girlfriend share the same console, i've the EA Access Pass she not.

I've Battlefield 4 retail version, and i've bought the EA Access version too.

When she tries to play, Battlefield tries to start, ask an update but send me an error, so i've logged with my profile and i've started the game, but Battlefield don't ask me any update and has started normally. But if she retried to start the game has the
same problem, every time she tries.

Now, I think that X1 tries to start the digital version and not the CD inserted, but she hasn't the EA Access Pass, then the game crashes

A solution is remove my home console, but she can't play my digital games anymore, and can't play online as a gold member, obviously

If is an error of actual firmware please fix it or extend the EA Access Pass of all console member like the Live Gold.

Like hornet said... subscriptions.. problem is... if you paid for a year.. you will still get it... they wont issue your credit for unused time.. ALSO.. you might not know this.. but once you do cancel EA access.. ANY game you downloaded through them will
automatically become unplayable and you will need to purchase that game at full retail price...

ex.. you are playing BF4 as you are an EA Access member.. you cancel EA access, you load up BF4, it will say purchase game for $60.00 (or what ever it is selling for)

 

Can you try deleting the Battlefield 4 game(s) from your hard drive and then only have the disc version installed? That should fix the issue as I believe you are correct in thinking the system is attempting to load the digital version.

 

Any particular reason you redeemed BF4 through EA Access if you already own it on disc? Was it to get access to the digital version?

Try deleting EA Access and its data and have your girlfriend play Battlefield 4 from disc. If that works, re-install EA Access but don't redeem BF4 again. Then have your girlfriend try one more time.

 

I've redeemed so i can lend it or sell the retail version. I'm sorry but doesen't work, I've tried yet to uninstall EA Access and delete data from my console, it works, but i can't play to the other games anymore.

If i reinstall EA Access, it autoredeem all of my games without ask me anything, and the problem back. I think that this is a mere bug, i hope that it will be fixed soos, meanwhile i uninstall the EA Access. Thanks anyway for the answers guys

 

If she's on the same console you use, don't have the disc in. She should be able to play the digital version of BF4 because you set this console as your Home, thereby granting the console access to all your games regardless of whether or not you're signed
in.

 

Ok perhaps the issue is because Battlefield 4 was already installed on the console before you downloaded it from EA Access. Try deleting Battlefield 4 and then redownload it from EA Access (not the disc) to see if that works for you.

 

For me works, but she can't play anymore. My homeconsole is setted yet

Yep, the console that your wife is playing on should be set as your home console. If it is not then she should be using the disc based version.

I just tried using Battlefield 4 on my wife's account (only I am set up for EA Access) and it loaded up fine for her.
