EA Access allows for five day Dragon Age Inquisition trial

@mgzin66 It's just stupid that they release a game 5 days early. It's clearly out and available for everyone. Nothing is embargoed anymore on the game and it's stupid that I'm still restricted to only 6 hours when I'm sold on the game, purchased the game(digitally
too, so there's no trickery involved by trading it in or anything) and paid for EA Access. I've given them all of my money. For the deluxe edition too. Silly to restrict that. There's no benefit for EA to keep the game locked till the 18th.

Holding games back for "street date" in general is a *** thing to do. It drives me nuts to see people on my friends list playing Halo MCC right now. What benefit is it for Microsoft to wait till next Tuesday? It's ready to go. Just release it. It's not even
a brand new game where there's some sort of top secret story to keep hidden.

I really loved Epic back when they released the first Gears of War. It was a matter of "Whenever your store gets the game, you can buy it." I had it 4 days prior to "Emergence Day" it was nice.

 

Yea I think it has more too do with giving everyone the chance too play it at the same time.

You literally just contradicted yourself, you said wah wah I want to play dragons age 6 days early and then said Wah Wah my friends are playing Halo MCC and I want to as well.

Now do I really need to go more into detail or do I have to explain how some people like to feel treated equally to others??

 

6 hours is definitely pretty awesome, I was expecting like 3 haha. Proud Access member here

Ps. Why are you proud to be paying EA Judge? Seems an odd choice of words to he honest.

The absolute inability of some people to cognitively adhere to simple logic is outright staggering at times. Is it a six hour demo I can play repeatedly? If so, not all that bad, I've beaten the previous DA games at least six times a piece so multiple start
saves isn't a big deal. If it is a one time six hour trek, I'll feel a little cheated. That said, the game is fully loaded onto my system, they have my money, I paid extra because their spotty wording seemed to infer I would have early access to the game,
obviously that is not the case in reality... I have a right to be irritated. Now, it's not a big deal really, but it's marketing the consumer is paying for if the game is worth the 40gig install that they're missing out on. Further and more on track, a six
hour demo is a bit of slap in the face, what quality control could they have left to do if they're willing to put the product on my hard drive (which, was I a less scrupulous type I could access as is anyways) that justifies not simply allowing me full early
access, to the multiplayer at least, for the premium I paid?

All this "what is it you feel entitled to" and "you've invalidated your own argument" nonsense in response to someone above who is like minded to me, is inane and asinine. If you're going to jockey for these large game development firms then be my guest,
you have every right to act like a fool. Being rude because someone who isn't a dipstick consumer spoke their mind regarding their thoughts on this "six hour trial" business reminds me of all the angry little trolls that send death threats to female journalists.

^^Uhh you do get early access to the game. Where is the spotty wording? Signup for EAAccess, play the game before it releases. Sounds right.

 

^^^You are accessing a six hour 'demo' I believe was the core of his rant.

Yes demos are technically the game but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks that a demo gives the full experience.
