    E79 Xbox 360S


    Hello,

    I've read many posts, blogs, troubleshooting and nothing seems to be the solution. So here's my problem, please help!

    My system has the E 79 black screen, one red ring - no external hard drive to be taken out.

    I hold down the sync button and power on the machine, every so often the start up screen will run for 4 seconds; then the E 79 screen appears.

    I unplugged everything, still the same issue. I cannot reach "System Blade", can't do left bumper, right bumper, xxx or whatever. Is there anything else I'm missing here??? Please advise!

    I just bought my xbox 360 s 2 weeks ago and already im getting a e79 error..what is it and why do i get it??

    but it gives me E79 but not overheated? not the Harddrive? then what is it?

    E79 Xbox 360S

    If you're getting E79 on a stock console with no HDD then you'll need to send it in for repair.
