    E3 Demos


    I remember Xbox Live having demos of games from E3 that were on the show floor like Lost Planet and etc. I thought that was a really cool concept to allow gamers the chance to be a part of E3. I was just wondering if Microsoft has done this in recent years
    since I didn't have an Xbox for a long period, and does anybody know if they plan on doing something like that for this year? Imagine being able to play the E3 demo of Sunset Overdrive or The Evil Within while snapping the coverage of the event.

    E3 demos

    the witcher 3 demo made me want to go back and finish the witcher 2. i want to figure out what console i'll buy dragon age inquisition on now so i can play the first two games and all the dlc on ps3 or 360...as long as they're doing cross generation save
    data so inquisition is my world.

    I was hoping to see Doom 4 or Serious Sam 4. Nothing really caught my attention though. E3 Demos :(

    It hasn't been done in a very long time. And I highly doubt it will be happening this year.

    Sunset Overdrive is playable, so long as you are in LA. But I do agree this would be pretty awesome feature to have

    I think it would be a fantastic feature, have a tile on the console for the duration of the show, and have demos playable for that time, it would be a win in my opinion.

    Um, no, an E3 demo is not even remotely close to being the same as a beta. The E3 demos are just that.. DEMOS. It's so whoever goes to E3 can get a little taste of the game before it's released. It's marketing, not beta testing. That's the whole purpose
    of E3. It's a gigantic marketing convention where companies show off their product in hopes to gain customers. 343 employees have even said already that a lot of the stuff in the E3 demo will be or already has changed. Things from audio and visuals to weapon
    specs and mechanics.
