E3 demos

there were a bunch of great looking demos shown at the conferences today, what were some of your standouts? what did you glaze over and wanted to end sooner rather than later? how many do you think were...not pre-rendered, but way too scripted to be any
real indication of gameplay. how many do you think were actually done on stage live?

best one for me i think was batman. it just looks so beautiful and a great example of how next gen should be. obviously scripted, but it seems like we'll be doing basically the same thing in the final game, albeit with more bumping into stuff in the batmobile
and looking at the map at every turn...but damn if it wont be awesome to jump out of wayne tower and into the batmobile!

the division continues to impress, though i'm waiting for the other shoe to drop and console versions be a fraction of what it looks and plays like now. really makes me wish i were a pc gamer...

Female Krogan appearance?

they showed a female Krogan in the E3 demos as well as the demos for PAX et al.

 

E3 Demos

I think it would be a fantastic feature, have a tile on the console for the duration of the show, and have demos playable for that time, it would be a win in my opinion.

 

That 15 minute long COD demo made me want to slit my wrists.

 

I didn't get to catch a whole lot of it due to work but I was pretty impressed with the demo of Assassin's Creed and the 4 player co-op that they are implementing with it should be pretty cool.

 

There was a lot of games that I was impressed with. The Division, Fable Legends, Witcher 3, Batman and Sunset overdrive to name a few.

 

I was really impressed with Fable Legends because I wrote that game off long ago.

I am not a Bioware fan.....at all and certainly not a Dragon Age fan, but damn did Inquisition look hot. Definite buy for me.

"Inside" looked great too. It gave me that Limbo feeling and I love Limbo. It looked eerie.

The Witcher 3 is going to be awesome...obviously. I can't wait until Feb 24th.

I was happy to hear GTA V coming to the new systems so I'm glad I held out.

Sunset Overdrive and The Division have my interest piqued as well.

 

oh crap, i completely forgot about the sunset overdrive demo, i was thinking of just the trailer...that was pretty awesome, definite highlight of the microsoft conference. looks like insomniac is back.

 

I was hoping to see Doom 4 or Serious Sam 4. Nothing really caught my attention though.

 

Witcher 3, Dragon Age, and Batman are where it's at for me.

 

the witcher 3 demo made me want to go back and finish the witcher 2. i want to figure out what console i'll buy dragon age inquisition on now so i can play the first two games and all the dlc on ps3 or 360...as long as they're doing cross generation save
data so inquisition is my world.

 

Dragon Age, Lords of the Fallen, Shadows of Mordor, AC Unity, and Sunset Overdrive are the best games coming out this year

 

Sunset Overdrive was probably the game of the show in my opinion. I think Microsoft dropped the ball on letting Bloodborne go exclusive to the opposing platform, almost was ready to sell my xbox 1 after 11 years on xbox because the most exciting series of
games from the last gen just went exclusive to Sony. I am sorta tired of all the FPS / shambling corpse of the Halo franchise.... Destiny will probably be where i spend most of my xbox 1 hours until i figure out how setting aside enough for a PS4 and Bloodborne.

 

i don't think microsoft "dropped the ball" on bloodborne, as much as it was sony using their rights to demons souls to make bloodborne...

 

^ This, and just like Demon's Souls, Bloodborne is co-developed by From and Sony's own Japan Studio. MS were never getting near the game.
