e203 after update

aighty like in the title says after installing the latest update i got error e203, my xbox was working fine untill this dam update, and now even after running the offline system diagnostic tool osudt2 over and over and over again im still getting error
e203.

ANy help would be great, cause i really dont wanna lose all my saved games that *** takes years to install

This was after trying both offline updates, as told to try by Xbox support..now what?

 

o i guess i should mention that i used osudt2 since i wasnt freezing at green screen and it wasnt a new xbox one. it goes right to ERror screen conact support e203. riht after it loads the green screen.

 

I have the exact same problem I've also done everything you have done and I get the error screen the very second the osudt2 file finishes applying

A fix would be nice

 

I could try the factory reset but I hear you lose all game saves is this true

 

i hear the same thing keeperz its why im hoping someone can help us out here. My xbox one has had no issues untill this update, and now no matter how many times i run this osudt2 file into my xbox i stil get the same dam error after its finishes.

i have dled the osudt1 and the reset also just incase, gonna try the osudt1 first if that fails ill wait for a reply if i get non ill do the reset.

And if it doesn't work you'll have to send it in for repair unfortunately

Apparently the osudt2 file is a bit finicky and u gotta keep applying it over and over and over ill update if it fixes I'm gonna be trying all day

I don't really wanna pay almost £100 to fix a problem which could occur every time a update comes out every 1 - 2 months

Starting to really fear these updates

 

not to mention to get it fixed means all saved games and stuff is gone, i mean i have like 20 games and 6 of thos r digital downloads and alot of saved progress all gone because of a fail update/patch

 

Savegames should still be available since the Xbox One automatically saves a copy onto the cloud

 

i guess im just having issues trying to understand how a small little update breaks a system, to the point of even after running thes system restore tools, we have to either send it in to be fixed or buy a new one. We then need to trust that the update
we install on our new system doesnt do the same thing.

 

Ok that's good news I didn't wanna lose all my minecraft, diablo and borderlands progress maybe if I get no joy with the osudt2 I'll try the factory default option

 

Well on a pc you also always have the risk of an update breaking your system. There are so many variables that the testgroup can't always find all the bugs. Very unfortunate that this had to happen to you

 

you right there is that option ona pc, but it is soo much easier to correct that issue ona pc cause you just have more options.

anyways srry im coming off hostile, its not your fault. I am just frustrated with the problem
