E202 error

I keep getting an E202 8007000E 00000000 error on my xbox one I have factory reset it about every other day because of this error and have been told by "official gamers" that it needs to be updated offline. The only problem is that the tab to do an offline
system update is not able to be selected even after being unplugged for a full 24hrs. Any suggestions before I take a hammer to it?

Hi -

Upon startup, green XBOX screen loads, hangs for a bit... then taken to a black screen with text saying contact XBOX support.



Thrown the E202 error

E202-00000000-00000000



Anyone get this yet?

What did you do?? Did you get this fixed?? I have the same error right now.

 

If you are unable to perform an offline system update, then this error would indicate some kind of hardware failure (possibly a dead hard drive or some other component).

The only solution at that point is to
send your Xbox in for repair.

I am also constantly getting this error infrequently. I am sick and tired of having to reset to factory settings before I can game before work. I can't figu out if there's a trigger such as using it too long, and so on.

I have had this Xbox for a little over 2 months, maybe.

This seems like a new problem for everyone

 

Xbox One System Updates | Offline System Updates

Follow this link to the Start up Error Solutions Page and download the Offline System Update File (OSU1) onto your PC. It'll be a zip file so you'll have to unzip onto a USB that's at least 8GB and formatted to NTFS. Once it's all downloaded plug the USB into
your Xbox and you should be given the option to do an offline system update

 

I just did everything you said right and i still cant select the offline system update with my usb in
