E202 Error, who has answers?

Hey Guys! New to the xbox community, received my xbox one s yesterday. After the initial download of setting up of my xbox which went fine, I left my xbox for a few hours. Came back to my xbox and when turning it on received an system error of E:200. Seeing
that my system is brand new i just did a factory reset. once i did my reset, everything looked to be good until the power went out for a literal second or two while playing the game. This caused me to factory reset it again thinking that it went wrong because
of the power outage. Get my xbox back on and am able to play the game all night. wake up this morning and i get a system error of E202 this time. What should i do guys?

E202 Stuck on green screen

Stuck on green loading screen. E202 7008000 error code. Tried offline update but keeps getting stuck at 66%.

Has anyone else run into this or know a fix?

 

XBOX One E202 ERORR

Upon startup, green XBOX screen loads, hangs for a bit... then taken to a black screen with text saying contact XBOX support.



Thrown the E202 error

It could be a problem with an update. First thing you'd want to do is follow this step by step:

Xbox One System Updates | Offline System Updates

Do you have your Xbox setup as always on? Because when it's idle it'll download any pending updates,

and if they fail you get the 200.

 

He is not talking about the start up error 200 he’s talking about the start up error 202 which is not on the Xbox site. I’m having the same problem but I don’t know how to fix it can anybody help.

 

I had this problem as well.

Support, Xbox com, and Google had no answers for 202.

What worked for me was doing an offline reset and then also doing a reset - save games and apps from settings.

The offline reset got my orig xbox one to boot, but it still had issues.

The reset - save games and apps from settings after the offline reset got it to work again.

Another tip - after the offline reset, do a save/ backup to disk and you wont have to set up your wifi a second time.
