E200 error what is the solution?

Ok, so we're stuck on the E200 error, can get it to 66% / 84% but it refuses to go any further. I know the issue has been discussed a thousand times but there never seems to be a definitive answer that says "this works".

Official MS advice is always "this should fix it" but won't reply when it doesn't.

What is the solution to this ongoing problem? What is the 100% working solution?

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this E200.

I can totally understand how this could be frustrating. Sometimes if the update is greyed out, it means that you need to disconnect the internet from the console so that it can focus on the offline update. If that doesn't work, make sure to try the other
USB ports.

Lastly, if those steps don't work, then yea, your console would be in need of service. One can always look into getting their console serviced by creating a repair order at

device support or by contacting
customer support to have an agent outlined their options directly.

Sometimes when this error occurs it's because of hardware problems in your console itself

Already downloaded the update to a usb drive, inserted into the xbox, but the offline update option is greyed out on the xbox.

I just wish MS would be upfront and say when a HD is wrecked and we can all move on

Try Clean your MAC and see if your NAT from Network is all Open

It's just funny that the error occurs after MS install an update. They then have no idea what has happened.

No matter what we try, the offline update is never available to select. Time for a PS4 methinks.
