E106 00000002 8007045D
Xbox1 is turning on, but not responding/functioning. The open cd button works. Controller is connecting to the xbox1. But will not go past the xbox1 loading screen (primary screen upon start up). Got it to go to the fail safe screen. But when you click on
any option (factory restart, turn off or USB update) it just freezes. I have not found any information on my searches for this error code. Any solutions on a fix or do i have to exchange it for a new one? My warranty ran out a month ago and i just bought a
year worth of XBOX1 membership... That's all i know. Anything?

System Error: E106 00000002 8007045D after the Xbox One is turned on. After loading for a minute or so it throws up the error code and will not go any farther. Any Help would be appreciated!

Preview member here, tried to update Saturday, March 11th, and mine is doing the same thing. It took forever to boot, then tried to update, downloaded and verified just fine, but when it tried to apply, it hit 84% and was stuck there for hours. I then got
the same E106 error you received, along with how it freezes when you try to do any of the options listed. I have tried everything, from power cycling, unplugging it and then rebooting, even an offline update, nothing works. I also get 2 other error messages
from time to time, E102 and E100.

I have yet to find anyone who can help me with info on this error. Microsoft wants to charge me $100+ to repair it since it is no longer under warranty.

If I find out any info, I'll pass it on.

 

anything in the e 100 range is generally hardware related. Best course of action is getting it repaired or buy a new one. You might get lucky with hard resets but probably not and since it freezes on factory reset your issue seems more serious than a simple
quick fix.
