Seriously how do I fix this for good? This is the second time I’ve gotten this. I just did a factory reset when nothing else worked. Deleted all games etc and, who woulda guessed it, it didn’t work. It’s ridiculous old systems like my PS2 and 3 are still going strong and my Xbox 1 can barely limp to close to 10 years without having many issues.

One cause of that is a failing hard drive, but obviously I can't say if that's what's causing your particular issue.

As annoying as it is, 10 years is not a bad lifespan for a physical HDD.

AFAIK, the rules of this forum don't allow us to post self-repair steps, but obviously there are other forums out there.....

Go to https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/startup-error-solution and scroll down to E102 (your error code) and follow the instructions from
there.
