E101 & E106 - Insider Preview Bricked My Box

I have been offline from my main Xbox for more than a month after getting the OS version 16299.3031.amd64fre.rs3_release_xbox_dev_1710.171012-1520

I have tried the troubleshoot that's available on the Xbox website.

The OSU1 & OSU2 which both don't work as my OS version doesn't match up with the General Public release.

I have tried everything under the sun and nothing works.

Keep getting error codes E106 00000000 8007057

&

E101 00000504 8B050041

Tried removing all my files, power down, power up.

Nothing has worked as it keeps updating then stops at 35%.

Any help would be great before I quit this all together.

The reason to post there is because you are experiencing this issue when participating in the Xbox Insider program and the people in that forum section are more knowlegable regarding the program and might have additional steps to try.

There is nothing there about the support for error codes.

Its been so long since I came on the forums and I'm lost after everything is changed.

 

I have this same problem!

What is solution for this?

Do we need some special new version of the OSU1 file?

It's frustrating to send console in service for this fault if it's not possible to repair at home.

 

If you find a solution on this, let me know...

Btw are we covered for repair if we send it in?

 

I have this same problem too, I get stuck on either E101 or E106 after trying all types of reset and OSU restore. I hope MS can post an updated OSU for insider builds or point us in the right direction on how to solve this

 

Mines done the exact same thing.

Spoken to MS tech staff, the console has to be sent in at my cost of $180AU for something that was caused by their update.

If it's out of warranty, then they stick the big middle finger up at you.
