E100 Error Code - xbox one x stuck in update loop

Hello there...

For some time my xbox one x crushes during the update and won't finish the update. I'm stuck in limbo/loop and cannot update/use the xbox anymore.

I can hear a very distinct repeating clicking/boosting sound of the bluray player. Almost sounds as if the device is physically stuck.

The warranty has expired in March 2020.

For some reason microsoft does not offer any telephone or chat support on this topic.

We have tried all the steps offered online. None worked. So here we are trying to get some support.

The following is what I found online:

"WARNING 1: E100 is bad. It is possible to do an offline update to resolve it but this mostly isn't the case. E100 is the only know error that actually
refers to the Blu-ray drive. Under certain circumstances during an Xbox One update the Blu-ray drive firmware can become permanently corrupted.
Any sort of Blu-ray drive failure involving the daughterboard will brick your system since only the original factory matching Xbox One
motherboard and Blu-ray daughterboard can be used together.

YOU CANNOT REPLACE A BLU-RAY DAUGHTERBOARD FROM ANOTHER SYSTEM!"

I need some help on this one. I am not willing to pay €276 for a "new" device when this clearly is a firmware problem. An update is an update and for it to work, it should NOT corrupt the firmware of my device.

Clearly I am upset about the situation because this has already been the third device (2 time exchange cause of other issues).

I wanted to contact the microsoft support to check if this qualifies for the standard warranty??? An update should not corrupt my device --> under EU law this clearly is the manufacturers fault.

Any suggestions, ideas, tipps??

Has anyone tried to repair this him/herself?
