    I changed my Microsoft e-mail address and password. On my Xbox One S console, it is asking me to enter the password for my old e-mail address. It is not taking the password. That account was hacked and passwords were changed. That is the reason that
    I changed to a new e-mail address and password. The console will not leave that screen until I enter the correct password. How can I bypass this to get the console to recognize the new e-mail address and password?

    Do you recognize the e-mail? Is it a "new-to-you" console or one that was pre-owned? If it is an old e-mail of yours you can update your Microsoft account at account.live.com and change your e-mail address or alias to reflect the correct e-mail address
    you would like.

    Hello there :) You can change the setting yourself so that the email address does not appear on the dashboard. Follow the instructions below.



    On the dashboard, scroll over to the settings section and select "Account".

    In here, look for "Your Information" and then select "Account Security".

    When in here, select "Display Microsoft Account" and then tick the "Hide" option.

    Sign out of your console and then back in.



    This should resolve the problem for you. Please report back with the results :)
