    E 68 Error of hard drive


    Hi ,

    i have old version of xbox 360 that has red light problem due to hard drive when i put the hard drive out of console it works but when attached it gets error of e68

    it works only when i add drive while its running and it gets restarted and then connected to HD of 20GB

    is there any way to resolve the e68 problem without buying any new drive. i have treid formatted it in dashboard but still its popping that error.

    New Slim: E-68 Error.

    In mid- June i recieved the E-68 error. I sent my Xbox Slim in and they supposedly "fixed" it. I got a new Xbox Slim and it worked fine. But when i put the 250 GB hard drive in, and turn the console on, it says "System Error" and the Code is E-68. I suspect
    the hard drive. Please help!

    New Slim: E-68 Error.

    After doing many things to my XBOX to get my HDD to work it was a fail. The E 68 Error Message indicates the Hard Drive is Corrupted and will not work all. Your console will continue to work fine as long you have USB flash drives to use for your profile
    to sign in on XBOX Live. Replace the Hard Drive would be the only option.
