dying light wont work?!!!!!!!!

i just got dying light i downloaded it and tryed to play it it goes through the logos and stuff then it says press select to start it says please wait then goes to a grey screen once done HELP i waited and it did nothing please help

Download a game and won't let me play in

Did you purchase Dying Light: The Following (which is just an expansion for Dying Light) or did you actually purchase Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition (which is Dying Light and the Expansion)? It kinda sounds like you have just purchased the
expansion and would still need to purchase the main game.

I would like you to perform a
Powercycle , You can do this by holding down the powerbutton for 10 seconds untill your console turns off. After this try to boot the game again and see if it works.

If it doesn't I would like you to turn your console off again and check your power, make sure the powerbrick of the Xbox one is plugged in directly to the wall. No surge protectors or extension cords in between as this might cause the Xbox One to have insufficient
power to boot up your game.

If you are still experiencing issues after this please say so and provide any other information you have like errorcodes

 

it didnt i already tryed that and i only have the powerblock i think its a problem with the disc i am returning the game if it does not work on saturday no error codes or anything it will start but the GAME goes into a blank screen not the whole xbox the
game will say disconected controler if my controller is off but wont do anything after that there is also the fact that i can press home button and it will go to xbox home please help and reply as soon as you can thank you>

 

If that doesn't work when the disc is swapped I would suggest you reinstall the game and see if that works, and if that doesn't work I will provide a link to techland support.

i got a digital version now and it seems to work when im no singend in

 

now it finnaly works guess it was just the dumb xb!
