Dying Light; The Following invite issues

I've had this installed for 3 days now. I've finished the prologue which is what's supposedly required to access co-op. My 'quick join' choice has NEVER been available and is written in black, as I move up and down through that menu the 'quick join' choice
simply gets skipped over to the one below or above it.

Also I can be invited into a friends game, have been and have played in it twice, but cannot invite anyone to my game. The in-game menu doesn't even show an option to invite a friend into my game. When I go to my friends list, find one that's playing the
game, I can invite them to party chat but I am not able to invite them to the game, again that choice within the friends list won't highlight either.

Very frustrating

Have you finished the main game? You can only play The Following with a character that has completed the prologue. www.gamersheroes.com/.../how-to-access-dying-light-the-following-dlc

It's also just worth checking that the addon is actually installed. If you go to the games section in my games & apps, highlight dying light, press the menu button on the controller and select manage game, it could be that the following is sitting in there
waiting to be installed.
