Dying Light or Dragon Age : Inquisition

I have a little question for you all fellow Xbox One Gamers. I am currently having a sum of money and I can't decide which one to pick ?

Dying Light ?

Dragon Age : Inquisition ?

I like both types of games and this is not a problem. Please suggest me on of them and if so , please write down some pros/cons too.

Dying Light

 

Dragon age has a fantastic story that can be played multiple times with different choices, classes, ending and generally to me has more replay value.

Dying light is shorter, faster pace, has less story and is great for a quick zombie blast.

Both are excellent choices that I don't think would be bad which ever way you go. Just my opinion of course.

DAI was my GOTY last year.

I spent 90 hours playing it and thats alot for me on a SP game. I cant comment on Dying Light as I havnt played it. Just thought i would let you know DAI is an excellent game.

 

A question worth asking here is how much did you like the previous two Dragon Age titles?

Inquisition is a good game but it is somewhat of a pale reflection of Origins and, I never thought I'd say this, Dragon Age II.

 

Im with Boas. DAI was my GOTY last year and I haven't picked up Dying Light yet.

 

Both are really really good...... I'd flip a coin.

If you're already a DA fan, it would be silly not to play DAI. I thought it was excellent. Gameplay wise it's better than DA:O, but not quite as good if you consider the story and characters.

 

Dragon Age is pretty good. having never played a DA game before I was pretty lost at first. I'm not far into it but am starting to figure more and more out. I don't think you will be unhappy with DAI

 

I was in a rush when I responded earlier so I just need to add that Dying Light is a MAJOR improvement over Dead Island. That's visually, gameplay wise, skill trees and even the story. It's fun and challenging solo but it's a blast with friends. When you're
out at night it definitely shakes things up a bit too (in a good way). It keeps you on your toes and makes you actually think before picking a fight with a zombie.

Also, they will be releasing a Devastating Hard Mode (free) to really push survival. I can't wait to try it out!

 

DA:I will offer much more bang for your buck. Tons of things to do and with different classes, you can play through a few times. Co-op is fun but it is separate from the campaign so it is less content.

As for Dying Light, it is a very entertaining game, decent sized maps and some hectic escaping from the infected. Even better with 3 other friends, the whole game can be played with others. They even toss in some co-op challenges as you roam together,
pretty cool.

I'd honestly say though that since they are both different genres, either would suit your needs in a game, but eventually both are worth playing, have fun!

 

Keep in mind also that games like Dying Light are infinitely better when you have friends to play them with, as opposed to a pure single player game like DA:I (excluding the co-op add on). So if you don't have friends playing it, and don't like playing
with random people, DA might be the better choice. It's a fantastic game, btw.
