Dying Light Multiplayer Connectivity

Dear Microsoft/Support Community,

I've been struggling the past few weeks to try to figure out ways to solve this problem. It affects the 4 of us. There seems to be an ongoing issues with attempting to join other players on Dying Light. I don't think it's an isolated issue. I've recently
emailed Techland directly and will include their response at the end of this post. Which in itself raises more questions than answers.

Here's the problem.

When trying to join a friend/stranger, through invite or matchmaking it fails. Apon accepting the invite, it'll prompt us to choose a storyline and then enter the load screen. Once the invite is accepted the person we try to join is prompted that we're added
to the hosts game. While still inside the loading screen we'll hear game noise for a second or two, and it'll close. Stating after that the multiplayer session has ended, and returning us to a solo game.

Nat is open

We've tried a couple ideas ourselves to fix the issue but nothing has worked. We've all tried clearing the cache, uninstalling the game, hard reset the Xbox One X, and reinstalling the game.

I hope somebody can chime in and help.

"Please note that the game does not officially support Xbox One S or X and some features may not work correctly there. Dying Light was built using Microsoft's engine tools for Xbox One standard.

Nonetheless, you and the other co-op players should clear the cache of the Xbox One system on all consoles that are trying to connect to one another, as described below (these instructions are for the
regular Xbox One console):

Power down your console, then unplug the power cord from the back of the Xbox One. Wait two minutes, then plug the power cable back into the back of the Xbox One and monitor the power brick, waiting for it to cycle from white light to orange, and
then turn the power on. This will perform a hard restart of the system.

Additionally, make sure no other account is logged into your Xbox besides your own account, please.

Lastly, if you have an external hard drive added to your console, uninstall the game, disconnect the drive and re-install the game to the console's default drive, please."
