It better be super duper polished Dying Light Release Date Delayed to 2015 - IGN.

 

I heard about this a while ago. Supposedly they realized the game was too much like Dead Island. Not sure how they could make it that far in to development and not realize it was the same game, though.

 

I can wait till 2015. We're all ready almost half way through 2014. Seems like yesterday it was January.

...and yes, I agree. Should be far more polished by then.

It will keep myself busy until Phantom Pain comes out.

 

While I think Dying Light will be enjoyable I much prefer Z games such as Day Z or State of Decay. And I could spot the similarity between Dying Light and Dead Island so its insane to think they didn't catch it also.

 

Honestly this game really didn't look all that great and I was far from impressed at the gameplay I've seen. I am however *** that e.s.o has been delayed

 

Noooooo! I was looking forward to this game more than any other. Hopefully this extra time makes it better. Still....it'll be hard to wait.

 

I had a feeling this was going to happen. Hopefully they take the time to create new animations to differentiate this game from Dead Island. Not too fussed about it as I never intended to get this until my friends upgraded to X1.

 

Too much like Dead Island? That isn't really a bad thing for me, I loved that game.

Still hopefully with the extra time it will be twice as good as DI.

 

I like Dead a island too, however, don't package the same game with the same animations and sounds, add a little something, then rename it to generate hype. It was the same thing with Hell Raid which lead me to believe Techland was a one trick pony. At least
Activision calls a spade a spade every year.

 

Yeah you would feel a little ripped off if that were the case, now I really want Dead Island on the Xbox One though, haha.

 

It would be sweet. I think tropical backdrops really benefit from the increased power in these consoles.
