Dying Light Co-op not working on Xbox One

Crossplay for Dying Light 2 is coming, but all we know at the moment is that its due in a future update.

Have you tried a hard reset then maybe try something like invite to party first then invite to game for coop?

we did play through the tutorial and it says we can now play coop, i cant even "quick join" other games.

Every other game does work, NAT is open, even dying light says so, so i doubt a problem on my site.

I did create all the port forwardings, what can be the issue here?

Do i need to forward all the IPV6 Ports too?

In this game, Co-Op is absolutely no problem.
But for playing co-op mode. Both players must have NAT OPEN. If they do not have Open NAT, they can not play together.

This is 100% not true. As of 4/20/19 I can say co-op of any kind has been broken. While true that its P2P, and not on servers, something had to have changed over time with newer versions if xbox's operating system and how players connect to each other being
incompatible with this game's programming. I don't know enough to officially diagnose the problem but I have been trying for weeks to play with a few friends (me, and they have open nat with correct ports configured). We can't join each other in any combination
of who hosts and quick join on any mode doesn't work for us either. We have completed the story as far as we need to and can't join each other even with our previous legend characters even if someone wants to argue progression being the issue. So, it's just
broken.
