    DVR Recording result messed up?

I decided to try and record some game-play the other day and after recording realized that the DVR had left a bit of pixels messed up. I don't know if its just me and my operating system or if I'm not recording this right.

How to set recording length in DVR???

    Hi,

There are two ways to set your desired length when recording in DVR. To help you resolve this concern, we recommend that you follow the solutions below:

Solution 1: How to change Game DVR recording time using Settings.

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Click on Gaming.
    3. Click on Game DVR.
    4. Under "Record this," use the Maximum recording time drop-down menu to select the time length:

Solution 2: How to change Game DVR recording time using Xbox.

    1. Open Xbox.
    2. Click Settings (gear) button.
    3. Click the Game DVR tab.
    4. Under "Game Clips," you can use the Maximum recording time drop-down menu to select the time length:

Solution 3: Reset Xbox app from Settings.

    1. Click Start and click Settings.
    2. Select System. Select Apps & features.

    Game DVR Recording Choppy

I've noticed even upon full reboot and turning instant on off that recording via "record that" or using the game dvr results in a video that is choppy and not smooth. Hope this gets fixed.

If you are trying to record BF4 clips? If so, you are getting that error because you have either leaning or head tracking (or both) enabled in BF4's game settings. It's a glitch that is messing up game DVR recordings.

I don't have an answer, but I do have videos with and without sound. After my "Record That" prompt, the resulting 30 second DVR clip has sound. When using the DVR's Start Recording feature to record and edit a 2:49 video, the audio is not present.

XBOX ONE and what it means for us without cable boxes?

I'd like to know, if I hook the hdmi to my xbox one, then to my tv, how will I access the shows recorded on my DVR? I don't see the xbox as being able to record the tv shows I watch on its hard drive because, what if I want to play a game while a show is
recording, plus my DVR has 500GB just for video the Xbox One would need to share the 500GB for both games and tv recordings. I think this feature will be a mess.
