DVR Playback

When ever i record a DVR clip it will not playback i get a film symbol with a not entry sign in the corner anyone know how to resolve this?

CDs & music, iPhone, iPods

CD playback and standard DVD playback features and Complete / Total TV DVR recording abilities features and etc. are needed ASAP on the Xbox One console from what I heard various people in stores speaking about folks!

 

Why are there DVR controls on live tv?

Upon further research it looks like it should control the DVR on my cable box. Or at least the recordings. But it won't.

From the user guide

OneGuide is not designed to control your DVR. You can use your DVR remote control to access your recordings or schedule new ones.

Note OneGuide’s playback controls (fast forward, rewind, play, and pause) will work with your DVR recordings.

Is that the best you got? because i am super reluctant to wipe my xbox and and spend the next 3 hours downloading everything again

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issues with DVR playback. I recommend to take a look at the following troubleshooting articles:

• Recording problems with Game DVR
• Record and capture Xbox One game clips and screenshots
• Game DVR and Upload Studio on Xbox One

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.
