    Im thinking about cutting my cable all together since we are in the digital age now everything like Hulu Plus and Netflix is easy access for less than $20 a month for both. with Hulu Plus id get majority (95%) of my TV shows i watch on there next day that
    I wouldn't get that ar on cable. Basic digital antenna signals are now or majority of them ar digital and would record them if needed.

    Curious to know what if any antenna DVR with HDMI are out there that are compatible with the Xbox ONE.

    DVR for over air broadcasts?

    For me, the xbox one will be complete when it replaces my DVR, until then it has no significant advantage over PS4. I understand that implementing DVR for TV on the xbox one is complicated by cable companies' aggressive attempts to control their crumbling
    business model, but how about Microsoft build an app that will record over air (i.e., antenna) broadcasts? Over air recording has a strong legal /legitmate precidence and has the benefit of letting Microsoft optimize their DVR interface while proceeding with
    the onerous task of getting the cable companies to let them record off the cable box.

    Xbox DVR

    To get a DVR from your cable company you have to pay $10-$20 a month in fees and most people do not want to do that. Most places in the US if you will only get 10-20 channels over the air and to even get those you need an extra antenna... and of those 10-20 channels the only channels that are worth watching are like maybe 5 of them.

    Yes there is. It is the Mediasonic Homeworx HW-150pvr digital convertor box. It is indeed compatible with the Xbox One and works great! I have one myself that I purchased on Ebay for about $45. Here is a Youtube video showing a fellow Xbox gamer how to set
    it up and how it works.

    I forgot to mention, it also has a PVR function that works like a DVR to record shows, pause, fast forward and rewind live tv once you connect a good sized flash drive, preferably 16 gigs.

    I'll have to take a look at it more. Looked at some reviews but not many last night. How many hours does it say you have with 16gb of storage?
