DVR File only plays halfway

Since your membership is only halfway through you should be fine. It would only be a problem if your year was over and the expired card was the only one on file.

The only videos that are eligible for upload is if they have been recorded using the Game DVR, if a video is taken from Game DVR and edited externally, the Xbox App will recognize the file as external and not allow it to be uploaded.

export your game dvr recordings to onedrive then clear them off the live account, you cant have unlimited space for dvr and saves, so reduce the amount of dvr files.

you may want to try clearing the games locally cache and any of the games files than restart your Xbox than put the disk in and if it is a game where you may play it halfway through don't just let it download

You can only record gameplay, ie when playing a game.

Also you don't need to start a recording through Game DVR, you only need to pick End Clip & select 5 minutes.

Also make sure you have Game DVR enabled in Setting > preferences > enable the DVR function.
