DVI to HDMI troubles connecting to monitor

So here's the deal. Before i moved out i tried my xbox one on my monitor connecting it via a DVI to HDMI cable. It worked perfectly fine but now i've moved it doesnt seem to work.

The cable is fine as im using it right now to connect my PC to my monitor. My monitor is fine as it has worked before and im using it right now. Any idea what the problem is? I've already tried all the solutions on this (Troubleshooting a Blank Screen TV or Monitor While Your Xbox One is on)
page but none of them work.

HELP NEEDED FAST I ACCIDENTALLY CHANGED AUTO DETECT TO HDMI NOW XBOX ONE WON'T DETECT HDMI.

Hello, I really need help asap.

Basically my HDMI TO VGA arrived and I connected it and everything the monitor quality was 720p but it could 1080p so I tried to configure the quality settings but I ended up going into Settings > Display > Autodetect, HDMI or DVI. > I changed it to HDMI
and my monitor for HDMI TO DVI went black. Tried connecting my HDMI TO HDMI on tv still black. How do I change my settings back to AUTO-DETECT INSTEAD of HDMI.

 

No video signal from Xbox 360

I've been gaming just fine on my LG204WT monitor for a while now. The monitor only has one DVI-D input, so whenever I want to use my PC, I have to unplug the 360 cable from my monitor and plug in my PC video cable. I've been using an HDMI to DVI-D cable
for my 360. It just stopped working. My monitor simply goes back into sleep mode whenever I try and boot up my 360. I've never changed any setting on my 360 when it came to connecting it with the HDMI to DVI-D cable (other than resolution).
