DVD'S WON'T PLAY

I need help please. When we first got our Xbox one we could play DVD and blurays now though we can only play blurays and dvds that came with the blurays. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and it still does the same thing. Except now
when we go to take the disc out it won't give it back. So we have to manually unplug the Xbox turn in back on just to get the disc. I need help as this is getting seriously frustrating.

Blu Ray and DVD's won't play/play properly.

My xbox will not play DVD's. It won't even read the DVD. It only reads Blu Ray discs which is ironic. And literally every blu ray movie it plays, somewhere in the middle of the movie it will glitch out, skip, and then the screen just turns into glitches.

I've tried everything; Including restarting the console, and Power Cycle (several times), nothing will work. I even tried deleting the app and re install it several times, getting the same delle no matter how brand new the disc is.

I don't get it. It plays games just fine, but it won't play a movie properly. Ive had this issue for 3 months and nothing has worked.

Is there an actual fix to this, or is Microsoft just trolling me?

 

320 GB hard drive is TOO small

An Xbox 360 should play DVD's, actually.

Hmm in light of your console also not ejecting discs, it sounds like there may be some disc drive issues happening. I would recommend a full

factory reset of your console. There are two options but in your case, I would pick the option that erases everything to give your console the best shot at a fresh start. If that doesn't help, your console may be in need of repairs. If you'd like to explore
that, you can do so at the
Online Service Center.
