    DVD's playing as audio CD's


    Every time i put a DVD in my Xbox One it plays through the audio CD player app instead of the blu-ray player. I've tried turning it off repeatedly and I don't want to get rid of the audio CD player. Someone please help.

    Audio CD

    Hi

    Bit new to this as I have only had my Xbox for a day or two.

    Despite loading Audio CD Player and Groove, my Xbox doesn't recognize audio CD's. Games and DVD's are all fine.

    Any ideas?

    Xbox won’t read any discs apart from game discs

    Yep tried 3 audio CDs, two standard DVDs and one Blu-Ray DVD. None worked on the Xbox, but they all played back fine on my DVD player.

    Cant imagine why it wouldnt play Audio cds though?

    Im 99% sure it s a blu-ray/DVD combo drive. It might not play audio CDs though, I dont think the playstation does.
