    DVDs on XBox 360?


    Please can anyone help. We sold an XBox 360 on EBay, it had 6 games and 2 controllers with it. The Buyer bought it on 2 December but now insists it is NOT AS DESCRIBED because it won't play her DVD. We replied saying there was nothing wrong with it when we had it and that she needs to download the software. She responded with a demand of a £20 refund for repairs. Can anyone give me feedback? I need proof from specialists and would appreciate opinion.

    Xbox 360 can’t read media

    Either xbox 360 cannot support the dvdXbox 360 cannot play blueray dvd's or their is something wrong in the dvd reader in the xbox.

    I regret to inform you that Xbox 360 S console cannot play HD DVDs. You still need to have an HD DVD player for you to be able to play HD DVDs. However, Microsoft Xbox does not sell Xbox 360 HD DVD player anymore.

    Hi,

    It's not the discs it's your console. If your console can not read DVD movies then it won't read Xbox 360 games either. DVD movie discs use the same type of discs that 360 games use (DVD-9).

    The Xbox One has two lasers to read discs. One for Blu-rays - which Xbox One discs games are made of - and one for reading DVD's and Xbox 360 games.

    DVDs on XBox 360?

    You don't need any special software or hardware to play DVDs on your Xbox 360 console. Simply insert a DVD into the disc drive and turn on the console. The DVD automatically starts to play.
