DVD sound issue?

On Xbox One, when i play DVDs using the Blu-Ray App, the sound cuts out for a second at random times during the movie and then comes back. I have a Samsung TV and my Xbox One is connected straight in the back with the official HDMI cable. I have tried alot
of different things including Hard Resetting the console, disabling 24hx etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Burning games to hard drive before playing them?

Do some DVDs sound quiet and some sound loud? Depends on the DVD maybe?

 

NO SOUND

The sound from all my games is good.

The sound from DVDs that i have burnt is good.

Just no sound from any film DVD.

 

Sounds like the same problem I’m having with my Scorpio Edition One X. When ever I watch a BR, around halfway through, the audio cuts out, the picture will freeze and stutter, then it will get going again. Only problem is, once it resumes playing, the audio
is usually out of sync, then I have to rewind a bit and play again to try and fix the audio.

At first I thought it was a layer change issue, but then I watched a series on BR. Three episodes on each disc & it does it every episode.

I’m currently watching another episode with my stop watch going...

Tried XBox support chat, that didn’t seem helpful.

He just got me to go into the BR settings on the XBox & clear the persistent storage data.

Will find out soon if that helped or not.

 

Did you guys happen to find a remedy for this? I'm having the same issues as well. The video will continue with no audio, then the video will pause until the audio catches up and it continues on. It will happen 2 to 3 times a movie.

 

I have yet to find any solution.

 

There are a few things to try. It looks like you have already tried disabling 24Hz playback. The next thing to try would be setting your TV to "Game Mode", or if it is in "Game Mode" set it to "Normal".

What audio settings are you using (Uncompressed Stereo, 5.1, etc)? Try Different settings there also.

I have also been having the same problem from time to time, It can be hit and miss some will play flawlessly and some will hitch and audio skip

 

I recently reset my Xbox to factory default settings/selected to keep installed games and have had no problems with my DVDs as of yet. Something for others to try?.

 

As odd as it sounds I have heard that setting your video settings to “auto detect” can fix a lot of non video repeated issues with movie playback.
