    DVD sound died with update


    hi there, I recently updated my Xbox 360 and activated Xbox live for the first time. Games and apps are working perfectly, (Netflix YouTube etc) but ever since the update there is no sound for the DVD player. I'm using the same TV, HDMI cable and settings
    as before, the only difference is the update. Any tips or tricks to help me restore the DVD audio?

    i know how you guys feel. my dvd player in the xbox 360 slim died right after i updated it back on may 20th (may 19th update)

    my xbox 360 light blinks and wont stop

    Did you flash your firmware by yourself? No official update?

    This sounds like a problem with your dvd drive.

    I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Can you try hooking your Xbox 360 up to a different TV to see if the issue persists? Does this happen with every DVD or only some? If you haven't yet, can you try a different DVD to see if the issue happens on that disc
    too?
