DVD rom is not working.

Discus and support DVD rom is not working. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I am using Xbox 360 Arcade for 2 years. And now its not working perfectly.     DVD rom is not working.


    I am using Xbox 360 Arcade for 2 years. And now its not working perfectly. When I insert a dvd it says "open tray" . Can't read any dvd. I have 2 dvd roms of pc.

    1. Samsung SH-S 223

    2. Lite on B-124

    One from these two will work on my Xbox 360?

    And how please tell me. I have not got enough money now to buy a dvd rom for Xbox 360. So please help me. DVD rom is not working. :(

    Toruble with DVD drive on XBOX slim

    im going to re solder the connections.. if that doesnt work im returning the dvd rom to the seller on amazon for another.

    DVD rom is not working.

    Self-repair is a violation of the terms of service and discussion is not allowed on the forums. If there is something wrong with the console you would need to send it in to Microsoft to be repaired.

    Your answer: Neither. Don't repair your console. It violates TOS, and really, you're going to break it. Call Microsoft, send it in for repair...or just get a new console.

    Blu Ray over DVD rom ? For Movies it's great but games ??

    Or maybe you play your PCs games on Blu Ray dics.

    Hi GerardSutton,

    If you know some one with a DVD ROM drive, I would suggest to copy the DVD to a USB STICK, make note of the CD Key, because that will be needed to install the game from the stick.

    Another option would be to get a USB adapter to connect your "old" DVD ROM drive to a USB port.
