    DVD region code problem!


    Hey everyone!

    I have a xbox 360 250gb slim console.

    When im trying to play DVD on my console it send me a message wrong region and says: this discs region is incorrect for this console.

    I bought my console in my local dealer, I use original DVD-s (PAL, region 2). I live in Europe/Hungary. What could be the problem?

    Microsoft Revamped Xbox One

    Glad it's region free. Does this apply to movie playback as well? Do you think I'd have issues watching other region DVDs on it? My friend had a problem with his Xbox 360 not playing certain region 1 DVDs.

    Maybe/Maybe not. It depends on either the game being Region 0 or having Region 4 coding on it.

    The UK is DVD Region coding 2 and Australia is DVD Region 4.

    There's no way to change the DVD region code of the console. It's also possible that the console could be from a country with a different DVD region code.

    Just out of interest, what region are the DVDs you're trying to play? This info can be found on the back of the DVD case.

    I cannot get the region code to change on my Xbox 360

    region coding for playing dvd's is different to games, and dvd drives for playing dvd movies is hard coded, so i dont think there is a way for it to be changed.

    Greetings, HIDDEN. You can only play DVDs from your console’s region or DVDs that do not have regional coding. You cannot change your console's region. Very sorry for the inconvenience!

    No as region coding is hard coded

    You are going ti have to get a region free dvd

    This is why you dont buy electronics out of region
