    Dvd player screen issue.


    I had an issue when I played a dvd the screen you go all jumpy.

    I found an older string with the same problem. With help from the xbox support team over the phone. A solution was found.

    The problem is that the sscreen resolution keeps changing between 720p and 1080p. The way to solve this is to change the screen detection from auto to hdmi and change the resolution to 720p. This will then solve the issue. You can then change it back to
    auto with 1080p and dvds will now work.

    I hope this helps anyone else with this issue.

    Blu Ray Player will not read movies

    Having the same issue no DVD movie or Blu-ray movie will work in Xbox one, I get black screen with message please insert disc. The same discs work fine in my regular DVD player and the DVD works without an issue on my Xbox 360 but not on the xbox one

    Blu-Ray Playback Bad for Xbox One Laser?

    My DVD player just died and I have a few Blu-Rays. How bad is it for my xbox to use it to watch movies? I know this was an issue with PS2 and Xbox 360, but is this still an issue with new tech?

    HD-DVD not working now...

    My HD DVD player no longer plays HD DVDs after the latest update. It still plays DVDs. With HD DVDs it starts to load the movie, then crashes back to the XBOX home screen. Anyone have any useful tips?

    Xbox One DVR question

    The Xbox One does not allow for recording of footage through the HDMI-IN.

    Think about if you have a DVD player or your TV going through the HDMI-IN, that could lead to some very sticky issues with recording TV shows and DVDs.

    Technically, it can record what is going on the screen, but because of legal issues, it doesn't allow it.
