    DVD on Xbox 360 vs. Xbox One


    I attempted to watch a DVD on my Xbox One last night and suffered unsynced audio. I thoroughly went through the settings and could find no solution to this problem. I gave up and dusted off my old 360 and found that not only was the audio perfect but that
    the picture quality was far better. Even my wife immediately said it looks better on the 360. Why would my 360 look and perform better than my Xbox One?

    How Much Quieter is your Slim?

    The exhaust temperature is about 20-40F greater on the 360 S vs a Jasper 360 - 95F vs 115-135F. The distance air travels inside the case is several inches in the original 360 vs half an inch in the 360 S, hence the hotter exhaust.



    My Halo 3 360 has a VERY LOUD DVD drive. My Halo Reach 360 S does not. DVD drives vary quite a bit as there are many different vendors used in the consoles.

    Console that keeps having a reocurring problem and microsoft wont fix it without charging us.

    Hi,

    It's not the discs it's your console. If your console can not read DVD movies then it won't read Xbox 360 games either. DVD movie discs use the same type of discs that 360 games use (DVD-9).

    The Xbox One has two lasers to read discs. One for Blu-rays - which Xbox One discs games are made of - and one for reading DVD's and Xbox 360 games.

    Yes the load time on anything bigger then a dvd requires installation this has been since the ps3 and affects all consoles since

    Just like theory said

    Xbox 360 games varied in size and rarely required installation but then you are only talking about 9gigs vs 25-50 gigs on blurry which xbox one and ps 3 and ps4 uses
