During updating my controller stopped working.

update it works but now I can use my controller until its time to pick a fighter controller stop working.

of course. Can you explain why I can't just leave the program and get normal updates, this update is the reason why my controllers rb button stopped working, I'm starting to get artifacts during gameplay and other things and no my Xbox is not on too long
for overheating. It's been 2 months if I haven't gotten it by now I'm probably not going to get it at all.

My just stopped working after an update also. I didn't have it plugged in during the update. Did everything posted online, but nothing worked. My warranty just expired 2 weeks ago as it was a Christmas present last year.

Update, It works every now and then but as soon as my controller turns off it stops working when It turns back on

I heard someone say their controller stopped working after they updated it, so yesterday when my console suggested I update my controller, I had to stop and think about whether I actually wanted to do it or not. I eventually did, and thankfully, had no issues
as a result of the update.
