Avoided the last iteration of COD, and I should have known better. The online play is complete garbage without dedicated servers, constant stuttering. Don't go blame it on my connection either. it's solid! When half the players are 1-2 bar and other 3-4
this just leads to craptastic game play! No other games, PC or Console play this bad, AND it's both the 360 and One versions. This makes you wonder how much did Activision pay for all the positive reviews? And don't get me started on the maps, can you say
CAMP city!

I love this game you just have to not take your KD seriously. If someone is camping, use your brain to go kill them instead of running out in the middle of the map.

 

@ zpackrat What were you expecting. COD is COD. Can I offer some advice. There is another first person shooter out there that with all of its faults it is far superior to this franchise. BF4 . This is all I have to say.

 

Long time BF fan, back to 1942 and Desert Combat! It's even the one series I buy for console and pc. However by comparison this is the worst of COD I've seen to date. while I prefer the BF series I've liked some of the COD games and the early reviews being
positive they TOOK my money, however unfortunate!

 

They didn't take anything from you. The game got rightly deserved good reviews because it's a good game. Much better then that Ghost garbage. You purchased a game based on accurate reviews and don't like it cause..well idk..I guess cause you don't like good
games (Battlefield 4 is trash). No one duped you

 

I've experienced a dozen or so laggy matches with only a handful being "unplayable" and the occasional issues with my friends joining or getting kicked from groups, but for the most part I'd say the multiplayer has been really smooth and is actually a lot
of fun. I have a decent connection, 115 down/15 up, so maybe I don't notice it as much but I don't know.

 

Sadly because of the massive instability in connections (coding throttling who knows), when things go pear shaped you have to camp to stand any chance of staying in touch, I don't like to camp preferring to run around, but with spawn issues and the lag,
when you find yourself in that mess pitching a tent is your only option.

We will see far more camping, especially corner camping, difficult (but not impossible lol) for someone to spawn behind you when your back is against a wall.

 

It's no worse than MW3 or BO2 were at launch.It's CoD,Connection will get slightly better over time.As far a CoD goes,It's alright imo.Yeah it gets laggy and the spawns are awful but that's CoD these days.To be expected.
