Duplicate games on storage

Go into your saved game storage in the playstation system menu. Manually delete the worlds from there. When they changed versions it made a duplicate of all the old worlds and quickly filled the storage of the game.

Based on what you have posted, it seems that you are getting duplicates from games you downloaded. There are many reasons why you are getting duplicates, such as system file corruption or malware. Let us further investigate this.

• When did the issue started?
  
• Have you made any software or hardware changes recently?
  
• Can you share a screenshot of the duplicated items?
  
• Are you installing on an External Storage?
  
• Are you using a console or PC?

You can make a copy of the world on your hard drive by going into the system settings and from there going into the minecraft area of storage where the save files are. You can copy the save file to make a duplicate and then with the duplicate transfer it
using a Memory Card or a HDD link cable from your Hard Drive to your friends, alternatively use the cloud storage and transfer it that way.

TL;DR - Go to settings, find minecraft, duplicate world, transfer.

Thanks Thor. There was no internal archive, but your slap head obvious suggestion to disconnect the external drive before uninstalling worked a treat
