    Duplicate external drives


    Hi,

    I have to xbox ones in my house. They are both 500GB models and I have 1TB external drives for both. Is it possible for me to put the external drives on my PC and copy games from one external to another? I'm just trying to avoid doing the time consuming
    duplicate installs on the new drive. My internet speed isn't fantastic (thanks AT&T!) so to install my games will take around 8 hours.

    If u have a external hard drive connected you could of downloaded the game twice check your Xbox hard drive and external hard drive then just delete the duplicate I had the same thing happen with my and gta

    External hard drive questions. Will anybody please help!

    My son now has two xbox ones (at different addresses) but only one external hard drive that he totes from house to house. My question is, is there a way that he can have a duplicate external hard drive so that he doesn't have to move it from house to house?
    I'm thinking that if he has two external hard drives (one on each xb1) and plays a game at his mothers house, then when he comes to play the same game at my house, his progress/new weapons, etc. will not be on the hard drive at my house. Am I correct in thinking
    this, or is ONLY the actual game itself stored on the external hard drive and not his progress/newly earned weapons, etc. Thanks a lot for answering.

    It's not possible to copy via PC. But you can just plug both hard drives into a single console and copy them over that way.

    Unfortunately I've yet to see a copy all function for all the games. However you have the copy all within each game (the game and all it's DLC)

    Hi Shimaran,

    Is it possible you have the game stored on both an internal and external hard drive? they really shouldn't be duplicated normally. But try doing a power cycle on your console to see if that helps

    That would be duplicating, which you cant do. Transfering would be moving jr from say your xbox memory to an external hardrive
