After further checking, it is not possible to link 2 Microsoft accounts to one primary email address. Your Minecraft account must have migrated to the original Microsoft account email address where it was first created.

To locate the original Microsoft account that is linked to your Minecraft:

Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/

Select the 'Payment & billing' tab, then check your Order History.

Please do this step and check all of your Microsoft accounts. If you don't see any Minecraft transactions in the Order History, it means that the account is not associated with your Minecraft account.

Arin B, if you made 100% sure you have logged with the correct email address and still a new account was created, i highly recommend contacting Support directly so they can look into your account and verify why there are multiple accounts attached to the same email. Here in the community we do cannot access account information, so that needs to be dealt with Support, okay?

Yes, you are correct. One acct on xbox and one on pc. What is the process to correct the issue? I dont want to mess up his gamertag history, etc.

No. Nothing can be transferred between accounts.

Thanks for the reply.

The account from the Xbox will need to be logged into the PC using the email and password associated. This will allow the account information such as the gamer tag, and gamer score to be set on the PC.
