Dungeon Defenders is very fun and FREE

can we talk about "maturity" in videogames for a second?

i downloaded this game months ago. it's a pretty fun game, i got it for free, overall i'm happy with it.

but one thing that really insults my intelligence is,

there are four characters in this game. three of them are men who show off their fighting moves when highlighted for selection.

the fourth character is a woman, who shakes her butt when highlighted.

then when i go to enter my player name as "Mr. Sexy (a name i've been using since zelda, because it is hilarious) the game criticizes ME for being immature. really? i'm immature?

i couldn't even rename my pet "butt" because apparently the game is too sensitive to such profane concepts as the "butt". and yet there the huntress is, shaking her "butt" when you select her.

where are our priorities here? shouldn't we, the gaming community, be more focused on treating fighters of both genders equally, and less focused on making sure someone doesn't use a bad word like "butt" or "sexy" in their player name? and more importantly,
I'M THE PLAYER. i should be allowed to name my character whatever i want without being criticized. they act like i'm the jerk...

I like it as well. Once you get some proper gear going it is easy to get into.

So far I only like the knight hero.

I am now SEVERELY hooked on this game. One of the games we played over the weekend had over 5,000 enemies!!! At a couple points there must have been 500+ enemies on the screen at once. Just insane!! My Knight is now level 30.

The game does start out slow on purpose to prepare you for what comes later. Especially if you bump the difficulty to hard, insane, or insane +.

Yes we ran into a fair amount of hackers over the weekend. Its very easy to kick them out and other players will join since its drop in drop out. Truly love this game.

I like the game too. It's probably the best free game yet.
