First off, apologies as I think this was posted before but I've looked over the first 5 pages and can't see it, maybe I'm thinking of another game, anyway lol ...

The dungeon-crawling FPS will drop on March 20th

Ziggurat features procedurally generated scenarios and encounters, meaning that realistically, no two player's games should be the same. Inspired by the likes of Heretic and Hexen, this could be one to keep an eye on.

Looking for a offline co-op dungeon crawler/RPG

Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition was released last week,that has local co-op & endless hours of dungeon crawling.

No co-op means no go for me. Looks interesting but would have been really interesting with co-op.

 

Co-op would have been good but I'll keep an eye on it especially as they say it's inspired by Hexen and Heretic, loved those games!

 

This is now on my radar! Reminds me of Heretic! Really enjoyed that game....

 

Looks kind of like the games my brother might enjoy...

 

This is out tomorrow and no details on the dashboard or on xbox.com :/ it's cool MS having all these ID@XBOX games but even a coming soon page would be better than what we have now, nothing.

 

It's been out on the PC since Oct and was reviewed well by gamers. It's a roguelike-lite so it may be a new experience for many console gamers so buyer beware if you're not sure you'll like that style of gameplay.

Looks good to me and I'll be picking it up.

So... not knowing anything about this game, I was trying to watch someone playing it on Twitch. Now maybe I was hallucinating but I think they were actually being attacked by carrots? WTH... lol

 

I just picked it up too....downloading as I type.

 

I really like the look of this. Gonna keep an eye on what you guys think for a while though.

 

I just finished the first floor and I'm loving it.

It's a Rogue-lite so if your expecting a Torchlight/Diablo type game you won't find it here. Basically the goal is to complete the "Dungeon" by dying (multiple achievements for deaths so they expect you to die), learning from your mistakes, getting better
gear and trying again.

I didn't die on the first floor (playing on easy ;p) but if I had I would have expected to start from the beginning with all my spells and levels hence the "lite" in Rogue-lite. Many Rogue style games are brutal and you'll start from scratch.

There looks to be lots of characters to unlock to provide different styles of gameplay so lots of replayability which is the nature of these games.

Settings have a FOV option that is set very low by default (increases difficulty by seeing less?), I opened it up to 90 to prevent motion sickness from the camera jerking all over the place.

Overall it's my type of game and I'll be putting a bunch of hours into it.
