Ok so I think I might have solved my issue. I was looking through all the different router settings and found a service that was called SIP ALG. From what I read on other websites its a VOIP firewall that sometime messes with things like Xbox Live party
chat. I disabled it and was able to use party chat for about 2 hours last night without a single issue (usually I would get error messages pop up every 5 min). I'll post back if I have anymore issues. Hopefully this helps!

 

Ok it looks like my fix didn't fix it after all

 

xbox 1 is garbage never had so much problems 360 was brilliant and you would think that the newer modle would be alot better lol if microsoft had a return policy it would be going straight bk terrible system

 

Same is happening to me. I chatted with support and he was blaming everything from my router, to my NETWORK! One actual "troubleshooting" step he told me was to use another network.... um.... yea...

It would be nice if MS would just acknowledge the issue and fix it because we all know it's software or hardware related, or that it's skype itself, or the servers it runs on. I mean I was playing Titanfall and chatting in a party when suddenly there's no
more response from my friend. I finish the round and snap party to see this error. I mean with the 360, when a party issue happened there would be messages saying so-and-so left the party, and there would be a sound to signal it. How is it possible that MS
have messed this up so much and to then just pass it off as MY PROBLEM!? I paid $500 plus subscription fee for this?? The support agent blamed my router, blamed my modem, blamed my ISP, even so far as telling me my ISP has to open ports ONE THEIR END? What??????
Do MS pay these people?

Happenins to me now. Why has no one repping Xbox gave an answer ?

 

Ive tried all of your suggestions so far and it still gives me the error and I was wondering if you had any new ideas.

 

Sadly I must join this long list of troubled people. Same identical situation: NAT open, ALL tests positive but unable to use the group chat. It is awful with wonderful multiplayer titles aproaching. I hope MS will find a solution or I doubt I will stay
more here... after 10 consecutive years of Xbox Live subscripion!

I fight with this Problem a long Time now... I think thats an IPv4/IPv6/Teredo Problem. No matter what I do - my XBOX One is reciving an IPv4. But I thought that the One preffers a IPv6 but i can not force it. Is there a way to force my XBOX one to get an
IPv6? I only can set up a IPv4 on XBOX One...

Having the same issue here. Have a moderate NAT type, which should work find, I'm wired into my network, tried hard reset, etc etc. Party chat works fine on 360, so it should work on the Xbox One. This needs to be fixed very soon.
