I have been having this issue since day one. I have gone through the NAT troubleshooting tool, with no luck. I have tried different routers, using routers Microsoft employees advise are compatible with multiple consoles. I'm at a loss of words.

This needs to be fixed. The workarounds don't work (at least not for me). Clearly this is an issue that needs to be addressed, as it is affecting a lot of users. The Xbox one is more expensive than the PS4 and has more problems than it. This is hard for
me to say as an Ambassador, but I spent a lot of hard earned money to not have what we should have.

 

Would having the console replaced fix the problem?

Router brand & model number: I don't believe we have one

Wired or wireless: Wireless

Things you have tried: Restarting my Xbox One (multiple times) and resetting my modem.

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown: Unknown

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?: I don't believe I have a NAT error as it's only Xbox One parties I have trouble joining. Xbox 360 parties work just fine

If anyone has recently been having network difficulties on the Xbox One and is a U-verse subscriber here is the reason why. Anyone with a 2-wire modem should be aware of a recent firmware upgrade that was released disabling tunneling (Teredo IP address)
ability to use IPv6. There is a simple fix they say for this, which is for you to pay $100 to upgrade to the Motorola NVG589 for the price of 100 dollars. They want you to pay for a new modem, because they broke the old one.

Okay guys, I got this Error too. But it wasn't me, my friend had to do the offline update again. After that it worked fine. I did nothing.

 

Having the same problem here plus my kinect stopped working since the last update.... like honestly wtf microsoft this
[Mod Removed] would barely be acceptable at launch let alone 4 months later someone needs to get it together your updates seem to do more harm then good, who do you have working in this department...they clearly have no clue what they are doing...not

boast about how they sold 4 million consoles though? so 4 million times $500 a unit = 2 billion so how about you take some cash flow hire a development team who actually knows what their doing and can fix the problems at hand because obviously your current
methods arent working to well.... or are you simply waiting for us to get so mad we post this trash on kijiji or return it and go with the ps4 instead? clearly the main focus was on making the 2 billion dollars and not satisfying the 4 million users, maybe
next time up the budget in the software department and lower the budget on the marketing side im sure mr. bill gates and his 104 billion can do a bit better then this.

 

Ok, I finally fixed this on my end. I recently bought the one. I was using the new headset adapter with my turtle beach set so I thought the problem was due to that. After trying nearly everything, I found a link that suggested I set my system region from
US to anything else. I changed it to the UK region and restarted the one. Party chat started right away.

My system had the latest one update, my controller was updated and my router and modem settings were fine. Not sure why this happens. All I know is that if I change the region back to US, the party chat fails with the same error code.

 

We get this same error message since the March update. Before that it worked fine.

Do you have a NAT error? No. If so, what is your NAT type? Was "port-restricted" moderate until I setup port forwarding. Now it's "cone NAT".

My problem was solved! I had a really really old network router, so I replaced it with a new, high-powered gaming router, and party chat is working well again. Just thought I would post a follow-up here in case it helps others.

 

i get the same problem. It really *** me off. Since the march update this has been a big problem. I always use party chat and it happens atleast 10-15x a day. Just a minute ago it happened 3x in a matter of 10minutes. I've hard reset my xbox and my modem
and router and it still happens. I don't want to reset my xbox or router everytime this happens to party chat. This needs to be fixed. It also happens to other party members as well. (0x807a1007)

 

This is some bush-league BS. Am I in 1989 again? Because not since then have I had to do such blowing-in-the-cartridge like tactics to make something work. Talk about buyer's remorse. The only reason I purchased an Xbox One was so I could go online and play
games with my friends. THIS FEATURE IS DISABLED. My Xbox 360 works just fine in multiplayer... how about MS makes it so it's flagship product does the same.

 

I've been getting the same issues as well, Error Code: 0x807a1007. I've tried everything that been suggested in the Xbox troubleshooting steps. I didn't have any problem with party chat after the March update, but it started happening shortly after the April
update. My brother and I both get the message when trying to play Titanfall. I'm using a Netgear WNR2000v2 as my router and a Motorola SB6121 as my modem. Both our NATs are set to open. I guess I'm trying to figure what end this is on? I want to trying as
many steps as I can before I go out and buy a new router. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
