Due subscriptions

Hey i put a 15$ card on my account, but everytime i would try to pay for my sub it says “add another way to pay”.

You would have to pay off the Ultimate subscription first and then cancel it in order to go back to just Gold.

If you also have a past due subscription, those can only be paid via credit card or Paypal. If you're just trying to buy a subscription, you need to be able to show you can make the next payment since it starts a recurring subscription. So you would also
need a credit card/Paypal on file, or enough funds in your account for the next payment (even if you plan on turning off auto-renewal).

due subscription is not able to be cancelled until the past due is paid.

Unfortunately past due subscriptions can not be paid with Microsoft account/Gift card balance.

A different credit/debit card than what was used on the past due subscription in order to clear up the past due payment.
