Dualshock 4 not working through bluetooth.

So, to give more insight about my problem, my dualshock controller isn't working through bluetooth. It connects to my PC, the light turns blue, but no input is detected. My pc detects it if I use DS4Windows but I don't want to rely on it everytime I want to use my controller through bluetooth, since the inputs in game change to xbox, even if the game has support for Dualshock. If I use an USB cable the controller works no problem without needing DS4Windows. I don't believe this is a bluetooth or controller problem since none of this happens with DS4Windows open. I couldn't find a way to fix this. I tried unninstalling the drivers, reinstalling them, calibrating, troubleshooting, and some other random stuff that I found online that I can't quite remember with no success. This problem didn't happen before, it started happening when I installed windows 11. Since then, I reseted my PC back to Windows 10 but the problem is still here. It's been happening for more than 4 months now.

You could contact Sony support if you feel it should work on the PC, some launchers has features for this controllers to work on games, that will depend on what launcher is he using, but again, this is a characteristic on the launcher

He did read your post you clearly didn't understand the answer

Neither Dual shock nor dual sense are native support for anything but sony devices you HAVe to use a wrapper driver either steam or ds4win because it's just a sony thing they do not support anything bit their own devices

You have to address it with your manufacturer

Sony will just tell you to use ds4win or steam they really don't care for anything but sony platforms

Ds4win is necessary why do you think they wrote the drivef

When you are plugged in into the pc you are using the Xbox 360 driver

Not sony dual shock even then it's his limitations including bluetooth on android you can read more info from Sony's article

As mentioned by sony themselves you need the ds4win or steam or the dual shock adapter to fully use your controller

At that point you might as well buy a cheap sidewinder or logitech conttroller rather then the adapter

You are just making assumptions

Everything MUST use s driver

And there is limits to what you can do as you clearly learned

Without drivers you can only use it as a gamepad without 80% of the gamepad working

Read the FAQ in the article on limitations of bluetooth

And yes that's without a wrapper driver
