    Dualshock 4 not connecting to Pc


    Why does my dualshock 4 controller not connect to my pc?

    It shows up in settings and controllpanel, but i can't do anything from there. I have tried multiple versions of DS4Windows and it doesn't work either.

    My wireless controller is not working on my laptop.

    To be honest you may have to contact Sony about connecting a PlayStation controller to PC.

    From PlayStation’s website:

    “You can connect a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller to a Windows PC using a DUALSHOCK®4 USB wireless adaptor or a compatible micro USB cable.”

    Dualshock 4 not connecting to Pc

    sony don't have open drivers for pc, you need a third party program called ds4 to use it, and it is finicky to work with gamepass games due to microsoft not supporting all controllers for windows store games.

    ds4 maps the ps4 controller as a x-input controller to get it to work.

    unlike steam that has ps controller support that you enable under steam settings.
